About The Position
The Automation and Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automation and control systems. This role involves leading capital automation projects from concept through implementation, collaborating with various teams, and improving equipment reliability and performance. The engineer will also provide technical support for troubleshooting and system optimization, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline required.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing automation and controls experience.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and machine vision systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software for electrical schematic development.
- Demonstrated project management experience with successful implementation of capital projects.
- Working knowledge of automation, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
