About The Position

The DH Pace Company is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician in Gainesville, FL. This role involves working on a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
• AAADM Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
