You’ll be out in the field working on real systems that people rely on every day, installing and servicing automatic sliding, swinging, and ADA-compliant doors, working on access control systems, sensors, and security components, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and low-voltage electrical issues, troubleshooting door operation, wiring, and control systems, reading wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specs, and communicating with customers to ensure everything works as it should. This is hands-on, problem-solving work where no two days look the same.

Requirements

• Experience with automatic doors, access control, or security systems required
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence using tools
• Basic knowledge of low-voltage wiring and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think on your feet
• Professional, customer-facing attitude
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the field

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sectional, rolling, or high-speed doors

Responsibilities

• Install and service automatic sliding, swinging, and ADA-compliant doors
• Work on access control systems, sensors, and security components
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and low-voltage electrical issues
• Troubleshoot door operation, wiring, and control systems
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specs
• Communicate with customers and make sure everything works exactly how it should
