Learn more at www.natura.io . The Automated Trimming Technician is responsible for the daily, efficient processing of cannabis flower. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Flexibility to adapt trimming techniques across strains and product types.
  • Understanding of product quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and personal hygiene.
  • Availability for variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of cannabis anatomy and trimming techniques.
  • Patience and mental stamina for repetitive tasks.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.

  • Prior trimming experience.

Responsibilities

  • Cut dried cannabis plant branches and separate flowers from stems using scissors or automated bucking machines.
  • Remove excess leaves, stems, and unwanted material to produce high-quality, visually appealing buds.
  • Group dried flower buds by size and grade using trays or automated sorting machines.
  • Inspect and maintain consistency, precision, and product integrity to preserve potency and appearance.
  • Weigh, sort, package, and store trimmed buds per established protocols.
  • Operate and sanitize trimming machinery, tools, and workspaces to prevent contamination.
  • Assist with harvesting, defoliation, and data collection related to yield and quality.
  • Follow all state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation and handling.
