About The Position

Sunayu, LLC is seeking a Test Engineer to collaborate with User Services, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Architects. The role involves designing test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements and specifications, with a focus on manual testing across different platforms. A key responsibility will be automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver. The engineer will estimate and track test case writing and execution efforts, author test cases, conduct reviews with stakeholders, and execute various types of tests including functional, smoke, regression, and integration tests. This role also includes reporting, tracking, validating, and closing defects, recording and reporting test results, and participating in daily scrum meetings. The engineer will contribute to system design sessions to ensure testability of new features, support processes by tracking and gathering metrics on testing activities, and participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing user requirements, test design, and test tools selection, as well as using metrics for quantitative project management to identify areas for improvement and providing innovative solutions for more efficient testing strategies.

Requirements

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, release management, or operations management or related field.
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience with Git or similar software
Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile-Scrum development methodology
Experience with API and endpoint testing
Experience with Continuous Integration pipeline
Experience in drafting test plans and test cases
Experience in using test management tools
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
Ability to work well/collaborate with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience as well as working within a team environment; Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with both Automated and Manual testing techniques
Experience with big data applications
Technical degree and/or certifications
Experience with Elastic Search and experience with writing and executing backend tests using Kibana
Scaled Agile Framework certification (SAFe Agilist or other)
Familiarity with GitFlow development model

Responsibilities
