About The Position
Falls Technology is hiring an automation-first test engineer for a mission program in Chantilly, Virginia. This is an on-site, full-time role and is not a manual testing position. The engineer will build and own automated test suites across user interfaces and APIs, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, use AI coding tools to accelerate testing work, and collaborate with developers to identify issues early.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Hands-on test automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Strong API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured, or code-based approaches.
- Solid grasp of OAuth2/OIDC, JWTs, and token-based authentication.
- Scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Genuine interest in using AI coding assistants as part of daily testing work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI automation using Selenium and/or Cypress.
- Write API tests for REST services, including OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them reliable.
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code to generate, refactor, and maintain tests.
- Work with developers to shift testing left and catch issues early.
