About The Position

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is seeking entry-level warehouse technicians for its automated warehouse distribution and customer fulfillment center team in Jackson, GA. This role involves developing skills in automated distribution operational processes, including equipment operation, troubleshooting, system maintenance, training, and record-keeping. Technicians will also be assigned ownership of specific equipment, acting as the technical expert for that machinery.

  • Demonstrates use and coach others on EO and IWS tools (AM, PM, CILs, and LE).
  • Ability to learn and use Warehouse Management Systems (e.g. Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.).
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead with a sense of Urgency and Confidence. Self-Directed/Motivated.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build cooperation throughout the organization.
  • Competency in computer skills and application experience (Microsoft Office, SAP, Prime, SGVM, etc.).
  • Develop mechanical, digital, and technical capability on the system areas/zones.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
  • Able to wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage various systems to monitor and maintain an efficient AGV operation, adhering to SEFC standard operating procedures (SOP) to meet daily business demands and AGV Throughput goals.
  • Actively identify, report, and work to eliminate defects within AGV operations and connected systems.
  • Develop technical mastery within AGV and the ability to train others.
  • Participate in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and Shift Change meetings, communicating observed inefficiencies and outages for process improvement.
  • Own specific equipment, system, area, or team programs, ensuring they are maintained and support the immediate AGV area.
  • Cross-train and flow to work across technology systems at the site.
  • Work with site Operations teams to maintain a cohesive, responsive, and flexible operation.
  • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Site Safety requirements.
  • Act as a positive influence on the organization's culture by role-modeling The Company’s Principles, Values and Purpose.
  • Comply with all SEFC and applicable OSHA guidelines.
  • Comply with all corporate and local quality guidelines.
  • Execute daily equipment health checks.
  • Function as a leader/DMS Owner (AMFL-CL/CIL/DH, PMFL, SFL, QFL, Training, Auditing, Admin, ERT).
  • Perform Equipment/Area Ownership tasks.
  • Execute CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) procedures.
  • Develop standards and documentation (OPLs, SIMPTWWs, SOPs, etc.) to maintain and improve line operations.
  • Flow to work as needed.
