About The Position

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Knowledge of Computer Aided Navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, Encoder, and Hydraulics is required. Acts as a Fault Identification, resolution as well as Maintenance and Repair technician on all equipment. Shift schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 10am - 8pm with occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Navigation, Can-Bus, LIDAR, Encoder, and Hydraulics is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to work at heights above 30 feet and climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Typically, an associate degree or vocational technical training is preferred.
  • Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Strong Electrical/ Electronic competency preferred.
  • Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operation, fault recovery/repair and maintenance of Automation Machinery, including Logical trouble shooting, adjusting and replacement of Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical components.
  • Operate and manipulate HMI/GDU devices and be competent with Computers and programs such as, Excel, Word, G-Suite.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, Cleaning, Lubricating and as well as documentation of the completion of the procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
  • Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
  • Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults
  • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
