About The Position

Create designs in AutoCAD 2D for transmission and distribution electrical substations and supporting design criteria, standardization efforts, and FAC-008 compliance efforts. The Drafter will produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D and produce specifications and material requirements for substation projects with an emphasis on safety, quality, scheduling, and costs. To further detail, the job responsibilities include the creation/modification of scaled 2D drawings designing the physical aspects of electrical substations, including but not limited to Foundation Layouts, Grounding Layouts, Conduit Layouts, Switchgear Assembly Layouts, Control Buildings, Electrical Bus Design, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering OR 4-year Engineering Technology degree OR 2-year technical degree with at least 5 years of related industry experience OR High school diploma with significant related industry experience of at least 8 years.
• Minimum 5 years Electrical Autocad experience.
