About The Position
D'Addario Nissan is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their growing service department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of automotive technician experience and strong diagnostic and repair skills. Nissan certification is highly preferred but not required for the right candidate. Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of automotive technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Nissan experience or Nissan certifications strongly preferred
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus
- ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on Nissan vehicles and other makes as needed
- Accurately diagnose drivability concerns, electrical issues, and mechanical failures
- Perform brake repairs, suspension work, steering repairs, and cooling system services
- Complete engine performance diagnostics and repairs
- Conduct transmission and drivetrain inspections and repairs
- Perform factory-scheduled maintenance services
- Utilize diagnostic scan tools and manufacturer service information effectively
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings thoroughly
- Communicate recommended repairs and maintenance needs to service advisors
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
