About The Position

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to become an Instructor. This role involves shaping the minds and skills of students, guiding them with expertise in small engines, diagnostics, and repair. The position emphasizes hands-on learning and interactive teaching to prepare students for careers in the automotive industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
5- 7 years of practical work experience in the field
ASEs are perfered.
Master ASE Certification prefered.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff
A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace

Mentorship: Guide and mentor students on their individual projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions.
Safety First: Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
