About The Position

Kia of Port Charlotte, part of Morgan Automotive Group, is hiring experienced automotive technicians. The role involves diagnosing vehicles, conducting inspections, and performing mechanical and electrical repairs. Technicians work in a supportive dealership environment with supplied toolboxes and large technician bays. Pay depends on experience and certifications, and sign-on bonuses and ASE or other OEM compensation may be available. Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Automotive technician experience is required.
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics.
• Ability to maintain shop equipment, conduct multipoint inspections, and perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Ability to document work on repair orders.
• Customer service skills when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications, including ASE Master or ASE Advanced Level Specialist.
• Shop foreman experience.
• Team leader experience.
• 25 or more years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics.

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as necessary.
• Document work on repair orders as necessary.
• Provide customer service when necessary.
