About The Position

Performs common repairs like brakes, suspension, alignments, and light diagnostics. May assist with more complex repairs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience
• Own tools (basic to intermediate set)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Dealership or shop experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose common vehicle repair issues
• Perform repairs on braking systems, suspensions, alignments, and other common needs
• Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and software to identify and resolve issues accurately
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
• Conduct thorough inspections and road tests to verify repairs
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and verify repair work when necessary
• Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
• Help prioritize workflow and improve shop productivity
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs
• Perform other related duties as assigned
