Requirements

18 years or older, valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE Training A4 – Steering and Suspension
ASE Training A5 – Brakes
ASE Training A7 – Heating & Air Conditioning
609 AC certification is required for air conditioning service repair

Nice To Haves

5 + years of experience in field as an automotive technician

Responsibilities

Complete vehicle inspection and communicates to the front counter the items that may need to be repaired.
Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services using the vehicles inspection report.
Perform vehicle alignments according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Perform vehicle fluid exchanges.
Diagnose, repair and replace Brake components.
Perform Oil Changes / Air Filters.
Diagnose, service, and repair A/C systems.
Service customer vehicles and completing VIR inspection and documentation processes.
Change, repair, and replace tires ensuring proper torqueing on all jobs.
Recommend products and services when needed.
Quote repairs.
Support and track purchasing and returns.
Complete all necessary training and maintain certifications (or equivalent i.e., Ford).
Complete jobs in a timely manner and communicate when there are items that will take longer.
Assist with phones, front counter, tire, and lube shops.
Other duties as assigned.
