About The Position

The Auto Service Technician 2 is responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, alignments, oil changes, replacing filters, and fluid exchanges. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• 1-2 years of experience
• ASE A5 – Brakes or ASE G1.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Nice To Haves

• ASE Training A4 – Steering and Suspension – within 1 year of being in this position.
• 609 AC certification is required for air conditioning service repair.

Responsibilities

• Completed vehicle inspection every time and communicates to the front counter the items that may need to be repaired.
• Consistently Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services using the vehicles inspection report.
• Proper completion of Vehicle Inspection Report
• Able to perform the following according to manufactures specifications: Vehicle alignments according to manufacturer’s specifications, Performs vehicle Flushes, Able to repair and replace Brakes, Oil Changes / Air Filters
• Changing, repairing, and replacing tires ensures proper torquing on all jobs.
• Recommend products and services when needed.
• Able to quote repairs.
• Support and track purchasing and returns.
• Supports company safety and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements.
• Completes all necessary training and maintains certifications (or equivalent i.e., Ford).
• Completes jobs in a timely manner and communicates when there are items that will take longer.
• Assist with phones, front counter, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
