About The Position

This is a field appraiser position, candidate will be required to live between Putnam and Albany County, New York. The selected Auto Service Representative (ASR) is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of assigned auto damage appraisals. They will operate within claim standards to provide the most economical means of repair or replacement and at times work to establish Total Loss values. Our candidate will triage and utilize multiple estimating channel options quickly and efficiently in theAssigned territory assuring that training, quality standards and customer service requirements are met. They will work on the reinspection of repaired vehicles and the assessment of repair costs. Additional accountabilities include assessing indemnity and expense exposure, providing outstanding customer service, operating within a team environment, and continuous self-development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of prior damage estimating experience.
  • Auto claim handling experience highly preferred.
  • Experience/background working in a prior service industry is a plus!
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Operate with integrity at all times to allow for trusted credible client interactions.
  • Self-motivated and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervision.
  • Flexibility to travel when required to attend meetings and catastrophe duty.
  • Must hold or be willing to acquire the applicable state's adjuster's license as required by the state.
  • Reside in your assigned territory (between Putnam and Albany County, New York).
