About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring an Auto Parts Warehouse Worker to handle warehouse activities involving receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and organizing parts and supplies. The role may involve operating manual or powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse. The position pays $20 per hour and is not responsible for supervising employees.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow clear directions and procedures for simple, repetitive problems.
Ability to follow standard procedures without decision-making and use guidance provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to work from assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior PIT experience, such as operating a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
Pick the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport product within the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
