About The Position
Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an Auto Detailer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA! This role involves ensuring vehicles are detailed to dealership quality standards before delivery or showroom placement. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate about the automotive industry, and focused on serving customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of detailing experience preferred
- Must be able to walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate an automatic or manual transmission a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
- Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.
Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors to a high standard, ensuring all dirt, grime, and imperfections are removed
- Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and other surfaces, ensuring a spotless and professional finish
- Ensure vehicles are detailed according to dealership quality standards before delivery to customers or placement in the showroom
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and tools
- Communicate with the sales or service team to prioritize vehicles that need detailing based on delivery or showroom schedules
