About The Position
ADESA is hiring an Auto Detailer for its vehicle detail team at ADESA Hutchins. The role prepares vehicles for auction and sale by carrying out reconditioning tasks such as interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-washing, buffing, and quality control. Detailers work in team units to clean, detail, and prepare vehicles for sale, learning and applying exterior and interior cleaning processes and vehicle inspection techniques while preparing to advance to more complex techniques. The role may suit someone who enjoys staying busy, is interested in an automotive career, likes working with friendly people, and wants opportunities for growth and advancement. The position requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The position involves light to medium physical work and both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Conditions may include temperature changes, outdoor weather, slightly elevated noise, and minor atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust.
