Requirements

  • Experience in dealership operations (parts, sales, service writing, or technician), vehicle inspection/appraisal, or auto finance collateral review required
  • Strong automotive knowledge, including trims, option packages, model-year variations, and VIN decoding required
  • High attention to detail with strong written documentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable making judgment calls and supporting decisions with data

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tools such as Black Book, Kelley Blue Book, J.D. Power, Cox Automotive products, Experian Automotive, or similar strongly preferred
  • Background in arbitration, audits, post-sale disputes, or risk operations
  • Exposure to auto finance, leasing, or lender-side operations
  • Skilled in using data analytics tools (SQL, Python, PowerBI/Tableau) for quality assurance and process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Review vehicle documentation to validate trim levels, factory-installed options, and packages against dealer-reported information
  • Analyze VIN data and compare against Dealer bookout valuations and option sheets and/or valuation and vehicle data tools
  • Identify discrepancies related to misrepresented options, incorrect trims, or missing equipment
  • Document findings clearly and concisely to support internal decision-making and dealer follow-up
  • Partner with internal teams (sales, risk, operations, compliance) to resolve vehicle content discrepancies
  • Support dispute resolution by providing evidence-based analysis
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency while working within defined service-level timelines
  • Contribute to process improvements related to vehicle verification and collateral quality
