About The Position

Due to increasing growth in our sales operation Ted Britt Chevrolet has an immediate need for an Automotive Finance Manager! This position is for experienced Automotive Finance Managers and not someone who can't sell so they want to do Finance. Automotive Finance Managers are the first one in and the last one out! Don't like long hours.....Don't Apply! Not detail oriented....Don't Apply! Can't get your paperwork funded....Don't Apply! Customers think you can be a jerk....Don't Apply! Not good with computers....Don't Apply! Hate having a boss that asks questions they already know the answer to....Don't Apply! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or finance preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an F&I Manager or in automotive finance required.
  • Strong knowledge of lending practices, credit reports, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (Reynolds preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical conduct in all transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must hold a valid Sales License with the Virginia Dealer Board or obtain one before start date.

Nice To Haves

  • R&R Docupad experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Settle deals following all compliance rules and regulations
  • Sell products
  • Be versed in leasing (Can calculate one by hand)
  • Get deals funded within 72 hours
  • Work with Sales Managers even when their spot instructions are ridiculous but still get deal bought
  • Do deals without paperwork errors and missing stips
  • Treat our clients like family
  • Be on time (early)
  • Get hit with cash deals on last 2 days of the month and not complain about it
