About The Position

We are looking for hard-working, reliable and safety minded individuals to join our team as a Auto De-Pollution Laborer. You will be responsible for the work on vehicle de-pollution rack to remove fluids from vehicles before crushing. unloading, processing, and disassembly of various types of scrap metal; yard clean up and maintenance; and other general physical labor duties to ensure the highest quality of scrap material is processed and shipped to our customers in a safe, effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment, and use safe work habits
• Car processing and extract chemicals from discarded appliances, such as air conditioners or refrigerators, using specialized machinery
• Sort materials into appropriate containers for recycling
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, or front-end loaders to load bales, bundles, or other heavy items
• Work on vehicle de-pollution rack to remove fluids from Vehicles before crushing
• Perform daily inspections on equipment reporting any defects or needed repairs to supervisor
• Yard clean up and maintenance
• Other general physical labor duties to ensure the highest quality of scrap material is processed and shipped to our customers in a safe, effective manner
