About The Position

Clegg Auto Body & Collision is seeking a dedicated Body Technician who excels in teardowns and reassembly for a long-term career opportunity. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a collision & body shop environment with experience tearing down and reassembling.
• Must have your own set of tools and be willing to continue to build your inventory of tools over time.
• Continued training for iCar & ASE will be required.
• Ability to learn software and other technical tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Utah drivers license.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to step in and do some of the actual estimating.
• CCC Knowledge & Estimating skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blueprinting: Remove parts as needed to identify all necessary parts for replacement.
• Work with estimators to properly capture all required parts and costs.
• Complete final assembly of vehicle parts.
• Assist with Body Repairs as necessary.
• Maintain high quality and high output through speed and accuracy.
• Identify damaged parts on a vehicle and determine correct and safe repair methods.
