About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, preparing inspected vehicles for customers.

This is a second-shift position, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Overtime may be required on weekdays or Saturdays, including mandatory overtime based on business needs. Technicians work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to heat or cold. Safety equipment is used as required.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience, be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to heat or cold.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
