About The Position

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, operates over 50 locations across the US, providing vehicle services including repair & reconditioning, auction remarketing, and serving as market hub distribution centers. With a vast inventory and a collaborative culture, ADESA is undergoing a multi-year expansion with significant investments in facilities, sales growth, and inventory. This role reports to the Body Shop or designated Manager and is responsible for preparing damaged vehicles for the painting process, supporting the body shop team in achieving daily production goals.

Requirements

High School or GED required.
Previous experience in a body shop preferred.
1 year automotive/auction experience preferred.
Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
May be required to provide sufficient tools to perform the job.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle for paint process by taping, masking, cleaning and removing parts efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations.
Maintain a constant and smooth flow of prepped vehicles for the paint process.
Assist with overall general shop duties such as cleaning, driving, organizing vehicle parking and staging.
Communicate professionally with team members and customers.
Resolve customer inquiries in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, advising management of any complaints or incidents.
Maintain productivity levels as set forth by management.
Maintain equipment and tools properly and advise manager of any needed equipment maintenance or breakdown.
Follow and maintain all safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
