Auto Body Prepper - 2nd Shift
About The Position
We are seeking Auto Body Preppers with a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. In this role, you will be expected to prep vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. For entry-level positions, training programs are provided to ensure skills and pay progress with the company. We operate state-of-the-art tools in high-tech Inspection Centers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
- Ability to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Willingness to use safety equipment (face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment).
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

- Experience as an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician.
