About The Position

We are looking for Autobody Preppers with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience to join us at Carvana. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be expected to perform light bodywork, including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, removing and installing bumpers, minor plastic welding, and small area bodywork (including Bondo repair). Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heavy plastic welding
• Experience with minor metal pulling
• Experience with roof and rocker panel repair
• Experience with stud welding
• Experience with large area heavy bodywork

Responsibilities
