About The Position
Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Auto Body Finish Painter Technician for our facility in Orlando, FL. This role offers a pay rate of $28-$33 per hour, commensurate with experience. The shift for this position is 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive paint experience
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- General computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of fiberglass
- Knowledge of Bondo application
- Knowledge of paint preparation
- Knowledge of paint computer match is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform paint repairs, restoration, and refinishing to company standards
- Prepare complete vehicle body repair plan, identify parts and supplies needed with estimated completion times.
