About The Position
Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Auto Body Finish Painter Technician for our facility in Orlando, FL. This role involves performing paint repairs, restoration, and refinishing to company standards, as well as preparing complete vehicle body repair plans and identifying necessary parts and supplies with estimated completion times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive paint experience
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- General computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of fiberglass
- Knowledge of Bondo application
- Knowledge of paint preparation
- Knowledge of paint computer match is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform paint repairs, restoration, and refinishing to company standards
- Prepare complete vehicle body repair plan, identify parts and supplies needed with estimated completion times.
