About The Position

An Estimator at B Street Collision is unlike a traditional body shop estimator. This role focuses on the estimation process without the responsibilities of ordering parts or writing supplements. The company has dedicated personnel for parts ordering and handles supplements through experience and/or training. This position requires knowledge of insurance industry procedures, understanding post-accident vehicle handling, blueprinting related and unrelated damage, photographing vehicles, entering administrative data into the estimating system, and writing total loss estimates. The role demands the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in the auto body, dealership, and/or automotive industry required
• Knowledge of any estimating system
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail / Quick learner / Positive can do attitude
• You must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities
