About The Position

This role is for an Estimator at B Street Collision, which differs from a traditional body shop estimator. The position involves no parts ordering or writing supplements, as those tasks are handled by dedicated personnel. The role requires knowledge of insurance industry procedures and post-accident vehicle handling, including blueprinting related and unrelated damage. Responsibilities include photographing vehicles, entering data into an estimating system, and writing total loss estimates. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in the auto body, dealership, and/or automotive industry required
• Knowledge of any estimating system
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail / Quick learner / Positive can do attitude
• You must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Insurance Industry procedures
• Knowledge of what to do after a vehicle accident

Responsibilities

• Blueprint the related / unrelated damage
• Photograph the vehicle and enter admin data into estimating system
