About The Position

Sands Chevrolet Collision is seeking an experienced Auto Body Collision Estimator to join their professional and high-performing team in Glendale, AZ. This role is crucial for maintaining the shop's above-average throughput, especially with increased insurance DRP business. The shop has 5 major DRP contracts generating over $1,000,000 in revenue, with current total revenue between $1,300,000 and $1,500,000. The environment is customer/employee-centric, and the dealership has been serving Phoenix since 1934.

Requirements

Previous experience as an auto estimator.
Strong knowledge of mechanical & auto body repair.
Familiarity with payment handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and explain repair options.
Attention to detail to accurately assess and estimate repair costs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Auto estimating: 1 year (Required)
Driver's License (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for auto body damage.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify necessary repairs and replacements.
Provide accurate and detailed estimates to customers & insurance companies for repair costs.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options and answer any questions.
Handle transactions for customer & insurance company payments.
