About The Position
Make a positive impact by supporting clients ages 7-22 with autism in a safe, caring environment. Enjoy more days off, working 3 days per week on a rotating schedule. Current shifts available: Full-time days-7am-7pm (3 days per week, days rotate weekly) Full-time nights-7pm-7am (3 nights per week, nights rotate weekly) PRN-to work as needed as a sub.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair)
- Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
- Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
- Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Some background is preferred, but willing to train the right person who shows genuine interest and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Caring for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism
- Assisting clients with daily living activities
- Providing a warm, home-like environment for clients
- Following a nightly cleaning checklist
- Performing routine bed checks
- Assisting students in waking and preparing for the day
