The Autism Specialist provides individualized, community-based and in-home support services to children, adults, and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role works directly with individuals and families to identify service needs, develop and implement support plans, and help individuals build skills, increase independence, participate in their communities, and work toward their personal goals. The Autism Specialist meets with individuals and families to discuss service needs and develop or review support plans. This position requires extensive travel throughout the counties we serve, and schedules may include evenings and other varying hours based on the needs of the individuals and families supported.
