About The Position
Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Requirements
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- The ability to pass a background check.
- Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
- Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure
- Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
- Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties
- Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis
