Part-Time In-Home Caregiver
About The Position
Fresh Perspective Home Care is hiring compassionate individuals for a part-time caregiver job in Parchment, Michigan, to support seniors. The role involves providing non-medical in-home care to older adults who wish to remain safe and independent at home. The company offers training and support for individuals new to caregiving, as well as those with experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), PCA, DSP, or CNA. This position offers flexible scheduling and aims to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in the Parchment area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to uphold client confidentiality
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Driving or accompanying clients to errands, appointments, or community outings
