About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Autism Behavior Technician (BT). This role is described as a calling, focusing on providing compassionate and patient support to children with autism. The ideal candidate will be someone who can connect with children at their level, celebrate their achievements, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment. While prior experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided, a genuine passion for changing lives is essential. Requirements

  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliability, including showing up for scheduled hours and managing administrative tasks.
  • Resilience and compassion.
  • Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
  • Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services.
  • Experience with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children ages 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, in a center-based environment.
  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), following individualized treatment plans.
  • Build skills through play, connection, and creating a safe environment for children to try new things.
  • Track progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
  • Create a safe, positive environment for every child.
  • Prepare for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification exam within the first 45 days of employment.
