About The Position

Behavioral Perspective (BPI) is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians, providing therapy services to children, teens, and young adults with Autism. The role involves working directly with clients on a one-on-one basis to help them develop self-advocacy skills, acquire life skills, enhance communication, learn socially significant behaviors, manage challenging behaviors, and improve social interactions. This position requires individuals to serve as positive role models and advocates, witnessing the meaningful impact of their efforts on clients' lives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Consistent and reliable attendance
  • Clear criminal background check, sex offender registry check, and abuse and neglect registry check
  • Clear MVR background check (as required by position)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in ABA or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions to clients diagnosed with Autism.
  • Collaborate with experienced managers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Support clients in achieving their goals in various settings including BPI clinics, client homes, schools, and community settings.
  • Empower clients to develop self-advocacy skills.
  • Help clients acquire crucial life skills.
  • Enhance clients' ability to communicate effectively.
  • Assist clients in learning socially significant behaviors.
  • Support clients in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Improve clients' social interactions.
  • Serve as positive role models and advocates for clients.
