About The Position

UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Software Engineer in Morrisville, NC. This role involves developing web applications as a full stack Java developer, translating business and technical requirements into effective solutions, gathering and assessing requirements, analyzing services and data, and delivering tested, secure, and stable applications. The position also includes diagnosing system errors, implementing fixes, and providing user support throughout the User Acceptance Testing process. Additionally, the role requires designing and building software components within an agile framework, reviewing requirements, collaborating with impacted teams, and identifying and working with people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements. The Authorized Officer, Software Engineer will work with global IT and cross-functional groups to support agile delivery and can work hybrid (In-office/Remote).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or a related occupation.
