About The Position

Collectors is seeking an Authentication Guarantee Team Lead to support daily eBay operations and foster team excellence. This role requires a leader who embodies collector obsession, ensuring every item is handled with care and accuracy. The ideal candidate will lead with integrity and kindness, proactively addressing challenges. The position reports to the Supervisor, eBay and is based in the Santa Ana, CA office. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm.

  • 4-6 years of experience in a hands-on role in collectibles grading or authentication, fragile item handling, mail processing or shipping, or as an art or antiques handler or technician or similar position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education background preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily eBay operations, ensuring adherence to the highest standards and working backwards from collector needs.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics such as exceptions tracking, inbound/outbound mail, and accuracy.
  • Seek feedback from team members, resolve conflicts with empathy, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Set clear team goals with supervisors and eBay leadership, ensuring understanding of the 'why' behind the goals.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments to reinforce a culture of excellence.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching to foster continuous learning and career development.
  • Share challenges transparently and early to address issues before they escalate.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless operations aligned with a collector-first mission.
  • Facilitate huddles, manage inventory/cycle counts, and reassign duties as needed.
  • Lead by example and champion all company policies, including safety, attendance, and security.
