Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The Australia MRO&U Inventory Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the physical and visual security of F135 Spares. In this capacity they will be responsible for issuing hardware to the depot as well as accounting for and logically (SAP/ERP) processing retrograde hardware returned from the depot. The MRO&U Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the oversight of the kitting process for kitting to include oversight of the material review board process, U.S. government property verification, and unserviceable material processing. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with F135 Global Spares Package (Wholesale Stock) Multi-Use Warehouses and Central Inventory for rapid pick/pack/ship of F135 spares. This specialist will be responsible for updating all of PW information systems when material is upgraded or change is required in the U.S. government property system. This position will be dual tasked to support full MUW operations including Joint Spares Pool (JSP) Inventory including logical (SAP) building and managing Deployment Spares Packages (DSP), for unit level peace time and contingency support operations, and first tailored spares kit builds to support Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) compression planning for depot level maintenance. They will work hand in hand with the P&W item managers to status and reallocate critical hardware levels for both the depot and GSP in the MUW. This specialist will be the international trade compliance focal for all international imports and exports originating or ending at the MUW located in Australia. They will be responsible for oversight of all shipping and receiving activities for sensitive technology material. This position will initially be located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for training and Visa approval, then transition to Australia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of Operations experience in warehousing or supporting aircraft maintenance, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of Operations experience in warehousing or supporting aircraft maintenance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Must be able to obtain all required work permits and other access requirements and maintain

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with engine MRO Depot level maintenance
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence multiple functional groups to reach a common objective
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and exceeding customer expectations in an MRO production environment
  • Excellent communication skills; candidate must be comfortable providing briefings at all levels of management
