About The Position

This role involves functioning as a Portfolio Manager for the Bureau, which includes developing project documentation, monitoring progress, establishing timelines, tracking action items to completion, and working with both internal and external stakeholders. The position also involves managing bureau projects such as reviewing and revising Enrollee and Provider Handbooks, updating the Bureau website, creating/revising Bureau Forms, and assisting with process improvement initiatives. Support will be provided to the MIF Team on additional projects including the Annual Survey, Annual Outstanding Checks Reconciliation, Bureau Reporting, and existing reporting and metrics. The role also includes assisting in drafting/reviewing procedures, processes, flowcharts, and other documentation for the Bureau, conducting data review and analysis to identify trends and patterns, and making recommendations for potential data pulls and reports. Additionally, the position serves as a liaison between the Division of Medical and Dental Directors, Office of Regulatory Management, and the Bureau. This involves coordinating with MIF staff to understand project objectives, goals, requirements, and expectations, developing and maintaining project timelines, and reporting on project status to management. The role requires scheduling and facilitating project-related meetings, including developing agendas, capturing minutes and action items, and coordinating follow-up. Assistance will also be provided in developing standard operating procedures, forms, reporting templates, and procedures based on assigned projects, as well as assisting with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Project management or coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and facilitating meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to be flexible, innovative, and work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in governmental project management or contract management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
