About The Position

The Auditor position involves tracing documentation to summaries, auditing numerical sequences, signatures, and other documentation for accountability and compliance with internal controls and state regulations. This role also includes preparing daily revenue journals, participating in slot machine meter readings, and managing coupon and ticket control procedures. The Auditor will maintain daily and monthly reconciliations, collaborate with other departments on new coupon programs, investigate discrepancies, and manage the ordering and security of coupon tickets. Additionally, the role assists with record maintenance and completes special assignments for management.

Responsibilities

  • Traces documentation to summaries and audits numerical sequence, signature and other documentation for accountability and compliance with internal control submission and state regulations.
  • Prepares input sheet for daily revenue journals.
  • Participates in the reading of slot machine meters.
  • Institutes and documents control procedures for issuance and redemption of all coupons and tickets by computerized system.
  • Maintains a daily and monthly reconciliation by analyzing all outstanding items.
  • Works in conjunction with other operating departments in the execution of new coupon programs.
  • Investigates and reports any discrepancies with outlined control procedures.
  • Responsible for ordering and security of all coupon tickets.
  • Assists with lifting, storage, and maintenance of departmental records.
  • Completes special assignments for management as requested.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
