About The Position

The Auditor, Qualitative Research completes field assignments at various locations, posing as an authentic guest while engaging in conversations and making observations. The role evaluates ticket sales, in-park operations, and other experiences through direct participation and observation. Auditors take discreet notes, document their experiences, and write detailed reports that explain what occurred. The position requires strong communication and observation skills, attention to detail, independence in the field, and willingness to receive and apply coaching and feedback.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Strong communication and observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to receive and apply ongoing coaching and feedback.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clerical, customer service, data entry, or computer experience.
• Mystery shop experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct covert visits to assigned locations while posing as a customer or potential customer to evaluate knowledge, quality, customer service, cleanliness, and the overall experience.
• Discreetly record shorthand notes and observations of locations and interactions without breaking character or revealing the audit.
• Prepare detailed, in-the-moment written reports on assigned locations and criteria, including photo and video documentation when assigned.
• Log and submit mileage expense reports and retain and submit accurate itemized receipts.
• Conduct fixed counts and observations of guest behaviors, interactions, or other observable phenomena.
• Conduct brief, semi-structured interviews to collect data on topics of interest.
• Attend and participate in mandatory in-person quarterly training and learning workshops.
• Follow established Universal Orlando Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
