A summer internship with the State of Alaska's Division of Legislative Audit offers students or recent graduates a hands-on introduction to governmental auditing. Interns are exposed to multiple aspects of the audit process, including performing audit procedures and preparing workpapers. Work is reviewed by experienced auditor employees. The Division’s mission—enhancing government operations and accountability—is embedded in the work Intern Auditors perform. Working on a team of auditors, interns are placed in a caring, professional, and educational environment designed to help them learn and thrive throughout the fourteen-week program. This position is fully onsite in Juneau, Alaska. Interns coming from out of town may qualify for a modest housing stipend.
