About The Position

Monitor all AV security services at the JFK International Airport and conduct audits to ensure service expectations and compliance with processes and airport regulations. Maximus Global Services (MGS) purpose is “Make people smile through service”. MGS provides aviation services at various airports in the US: Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Virginia, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Las Vegas. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in customer service and security at airport or similar entities.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience aviation industry
  • Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
  • Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients
  • A willingness and ability to travel within the US for training delivery
  • Good working knowledge of management practices and principles so they can efficiently perform their job.
  • Critical thinking skills who can quickly observe a situation and make the appropriate response.
  • Display a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent supervision and personal skills.
  • Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.

Responsibilities

  • Implement security policies, protocols and procedures and maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  • Ensures that service expectations are being met through daily inspections of gates, positions and areas, including airport and cargo, where services are provided.
  • Maintains weekly reports for all occurrences while on duty, with audit results, recommendations and trainings completed and pending.
  • Support internal and external audit process
  • Ensure all employees follow security procedures for each entity, such as TSA and CBP.
  • Communicate to management any irregularities and/or operational requests.
  • Promotes professionalism and exceptional customer service within the security team.
  • Keeps familiar with and enforces MGS Employee Handbook, Standards of Business Conduct and Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
