About The Position
CohnReznick is seeking motivated, high-achieving college students for an Audit Winter Internship in their Minneapolis office for Winter 2028 (approximately January-March). This hybrid role involves hands-on experience in accounting and auditing practices, exposure to diverse clients and industries, and mentorship. The firm, CohnReznick LLP and CohnReznick Advisory LLC, provides assurance, advisory, and tax services and is an independent member of Nexia, with offices nationwide serving clients globally. The internship offers a modern office environment with collaborative spaces and support from a Performance Coach and a CR Friend.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility
- Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall
- Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects
- Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Responsibilities
- Work on all aspects of an audit engagement including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
- Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
- Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while assisting the team with daily client workflow.
