About The Position
CohnReznick is seeking motivated, high-achieving college students for an Audit Winter Internship in their Chicago office for Winter 2028 (approximately January-March). This hybrid position involves working on audit engagements, gaining hands-on experience with accounting and auditing practices, and collaborating with seasoned professionals. The firm provides assurance, advisory, and tax services to a variety of clients across multiple industries. Interns will receive mentorship and support from performance coaches and peer friends.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility
- Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall
- Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects
- Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Responsibilities
- Work on all aspects of an audit engagement including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
- Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
- Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while assisting the team with daily client workflow.
