About The Position

Frankel provides innovative and progressive accounting, tax, and consulting services, helping clients resolve challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth and financial well-being. Our team works collaboratively to deliver comprehensive, effective, and innovative solutions. Frankel’s internship program is designed to offer a dynamic and engaging experience for aspiring accounting students. The program is focused on training and mentorship, collaboration, hands-on experience, fun, and is student-focused. We are currently seeking Audit interns to join our team for the summer of 2027 (May to August). The program offers comprehensive training in all aspects of accounting, opportunities to collaborate with fellow interns and experienced professionals, numerous social events, and hands-on experience with client projects using real data. The program can be tailored to fit around the intern's class schedule.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with plans to sit for the CPA exam.
• A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred
• Available for full-time employment Fall 2027-2029
• Available on-site during the months of May-August
• Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

• Local students will be given preference due to the in-person nature of the internship

Responsibilities

• Participates in firm sponsored training sessions to learn our software, methodology, and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day audit work for all audit phases in accordance with GAAP.
• Attend client engagement meetings to determine timelines and goals of an audit.
• Research business trends in order to assist the team is providing solutions to our clients.
• Prepare accounting-related reports.
• Performs other audit and accounting duties as needed for the firm.
• Network and build relationships across the firm.
