Navigator RecruitingColorado Springs, CO

About The Position

Navigator Recruiting's client is a well-respected, second-generation, 14-employee CPA firm in Colorado Springs offering audit and tax services to companies in and around the Colorado Springs area. This is a growing CPA firm with opportunities to advance. Audit work encompasses about 90% of the work and will happen year-round for the most part, with special projects accounting for the other 10% of the job. The firm conducts many audits for companies in construction, real estate, healthcare, government, and employee benefit plans. If the chosen candidate had experience auditing some clients in these areas, that would be helpful, but the firm will train the chosen individual. The company has excellent tenure among its employees. People stay here a long time because it’s truly an incredible place to work. The company has a laid-back environment and the partners take care of their employees. Benefits include healthcare paid at 100% for the employee, a 401k plan with a match, vacation, and holidays. The office closes at 1:00 pm on Fridays in the summer. The firm also allows employees to work from home some days, and employees have the option to work four 10-hour shifts in the summer if they would like, so employees can have many 3-day weekends. Employees can work from home 1-2 days/week.
